Tiger

1/20/08 - Tiger is a beautiful flashy brindle boy who is 6 years old. He is an owner surrender and was kept outside and used for breeding. That kind of life is behind him now and we will get him ready to be adopted by his forever familyi. He will be brought up to date on his vaccinations and neutered. He was tested for heartworm and was negative. He slept in a crate last night and did a little complaining about it but quickly settled down. Not a word out of him and he was very glad to see us this morning giving a few gentle kisses. He ate a little breakfast after offering it to him a couple times so he is adjusting. He was nice and warm last night and I am so thankful that he didn't have to spend another night out in the cold. He has no issues with other dogs. So far, he has been nothing but a gentleman. Tiger had a bath shortly after arriving last night and he was loaded, I mean loaded with fleas. Never have seen anything like it before. Tiger is very calm and will make a great companion to any family that will love him. If you are looking for a best friend, think about making him yours. Tiger will be neutered, brought up to date on his shots and have a fecal exam very shortly then will be ready for his new home. 1/28/08 - Tiger is doing wonderful at his foster home. He is such a sweetheart. He seems to love everyone, dog or human. He is happy and will give lots of kisses if given the chance. We made a trip to the vet to get a rabie vacciantion and he was given medication to take care of his worms. He has an appointment on Tuesday to get neutered and to have some of his teeth worked on. I feel already that we have made a difference in his life. He is just a calm gentleman and think that he would do well in any home that can provide just some love for him. He sleeps in our bedroom on a dog bed,and he loves them. If one is taken already, he will sneak just so his head is on the corner of the dog bed. He is remarkable easy. Still have not heard him bark. He will make a great companion. Think about making him part of your family. He will touch your heart as he has ours.
