| October 14 2010 - Sadie is the newest guest at the Boxer'In on the Lake. She is a beautiful flashy fawn girl with four white socks, natural ears and a tail. Her previous owner wanted Sadie to find her forever home as she is being deployed in the Army in a couple of weeks. It was really hard for her to do this but loved this girl so much that she wanted what was best for her. We will find Sadie a great home because she is a great girl. She was very well taken care. She is getting along well with the other dogs at her foster home. She loves her fenced in backyard and will run and play with the other dogs. She is completely housebroken and has had no accidents in the house. She is being crated during the work day and doesn't seem to mind it. Her previous owner said that she was free in the house and she was a good girl by not getting into anything. I think that she can probably be trusted. We give her a frozen peanut butter filled marrow bone to enjoy while we are away and she already knows if I get them out, she beats me to her cage. She is a very smart girl. Very friendly and gives lots of kisses. Sadie will be brought up to date on her vaccinations and heartworm tested soon. She is ready and waiting.
