| October 6, 2008 Best Friends Boxer Rescue would like to welcome Max. Sometimes things happen, they call it life. And things happened for Max. Max was living with a family since he was a pup. Sadly, things have changed for the family and he is now looking for a new home. Our family and Max's family have been friends for a very long time so I am quite familiar with him. He had two human kids that he adored and a cat that he liked to lay down next to if the cat was in agreement! We picked him up a few nights ago. He is beyond friendly, he immediately took a likeing to all the dogs here, but his favorite by far is Gracie, another foster. They are both young dogs and both like to play...ALOT! I let Max out in the backyard and he promptly did his business and then decided to take a dip in the pool. I pulled him out and he was eternally grateful. Max would benefit from someone that is very active and would have the time to spend with him. He requires a fenced in backyard to help burn off his energy and obedience training is a must. A kid or two or three would be good and maybe another dog to play with. He is already neutered, up to date on his shots, heartworm negative and on preventative. He will make a visit to our friend the vet for a general health check up and work on his housetraining. Don't hesitate on this guy, more to come! | |||||
