June 17 2009 Daphne has been here a week now, and she is just as sweet as I suspected! I just can't say enough about her. She came here ready made to fit into a family. She is housetrained and will whine at the door when she has to go out. She walks great on a leash, and understands no on the first try. All she wants to do is be close to someone. She is great with the kids, and has only jumped on them once, and with one quick reprimand hasn't done it again. She is a pretty mellow girl, and LOVES playing with her boxer buddy Sebastian. She goes right into her crate when asked. Daphne has the run of the house when we are home, and has not shown ANY kind of destructive behavior. She would be the perfect dog for almost anyone, all she wants is someone to love! August 26, 2009 A very hard decision was made by an equally sad boxer mom to return Daphne to rescue. Daphne is very much loved, but being in a home with no children and no other dogs to play with, Daphne was sad all the time. Her mom made the very difficult decision that she felt was in Daphne's best interests. Her mom wants you to know that Daphne absolutely was the best dog and that she adores children.
