| June 6, 2009 -Best Friends Boxer Rescue picked up Danny on Friday. Danny was turned into one of our favorite pounds with his brother Owen and his angel Nancy got them both out and onto a better life. According to the woman that brought them in, mom was a purebred boxer and dad was a lab. Their tails are docked, but in all honesty, their appearance isn't very "boxery" but Danny is loveable and his life depended on his getting into rescue. He is a bit on the shy side, but is coming around very nicely now that he and Owen have been seperated. He is learning the housetraining ropes while camping here with my Boxers. He is in today for a neuter and to have his shots updated. He will be ready for a home of his own this weekend, please consider him for yours! | ||
| June 22 2009 Danny continues to be a great guest here. He is really coming out of his shell and turning into a confident young dog. He is losing his puppy teeth and growing. He is working on his housetraining, he still has accidents, but is learing the ropes, taking his cue from the resident dogs. He has taken to the crate very well, he will go in while I run errands without any fuss. He stays quiet while I'm gone, but is happy to be let out. He still is learning to keep all four feet on the floor though. | ||
